The University of Wisconsin offers a variety of seasonal sessions of Women’s Rowing Camps, which will be tailored to both experienced and beginner-level rowers.

Wisconsin Girls’ Rowing Fundamentals Winter Camp is a 3-hour clinic designed to help athletes grow and excel during the winter season. This camp will provide a focused, hands-on environment where rowers can improve erg technique, build strength and conditioning knowledge on land, and develop other essential skills to prepare for a successful winter training season. Tailored for experienced athletes, the sessions offer coaching, skill development, and strategies to take rowing performance to the next level. We recommend all registering participants have at least six months of rowing experience. This clinic is open to any and all entrants in grades 9-12.

Price: $40 per camper prior to November 30th. $45 per camper starting December 1st.

Check-in: Sunday, December 14th from 8:30-9:00am at the Porter Boathouse.

Check-out: Saturday, December 14th at 12:00pm from the Porter Boathouse.

Lunch/Meals: No meals will be provided - campers are welcome to bring their own snacks for during break periods.

Wisconsin Girls' Learn-to-Row Camp is a 3-hour clinic for high school students with no rowing experience to learn the essentials of the sport. Athletes will receive instruction on the basics of the stroke on erg machines and in our indoor rowing tank. These sessions will include an overview of the strength and conditioning necessary to be a successful rower. This clinic is open to any and all entrants in grades 9-12.

Price: $40 per camper prior to November 30th. $45 per camper starting December 1st.

Check-in: Sunday, December 14th from 12:30-1:00pm at the Porter Boathouse.

Check-out: Saturday, December 14th at 4:00pm from the Porter Boathouse.

Lunch/Meals: No meals will be provided - campers are welcome to bring their own snacks for during break periods.

Beginners learn the basics while experienced rowers focus on maximizing boat-speed. Row in 8s, 4s, 2s, & 1xs. Campers stay in dorms on campus just minutes from the boathouse. Please note: this is a overnight camp only. Open to any and all female entrants entering grades 9-12 in the Fall of 2026.

Check-in: Tuesday, June 16th from 1:30-2:00pm at the Porter Boathouse.

Check-out: Saturday, June 20th from 11:30am-12:00pm at the Porter Boathouse.

Housing: All campers will be housed in a TBD Lakeshore Residence Hall.

Meals: All meals will be enjoyed at Four Lakes Market (starting with dinner on June 16th, and ending with breakfast on June 20th).
