Badger Sports Camps

The University of Wisconsin offers a variety of softball camps throughout the year. The softball camps are focused on developing the fundamental, individual skills of softball in an enjoyable atmosphere, as well as providing instruction on game situations. Each of our camps will include sessions on individual and team concepts for both offense and defense. Our camps are great for players that are looking to take their game to the next level. All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Badger Kids Camp - August 10-11

Our Softball Badger Kids Day Camp is all about having fun and learning more about the game of softball! Campers will be working on the fundamentals of the sport susch as pitching, throwing, defense, hitting, and base running. In addition to softball instruction, camp will include some other fun activities! This camp is intended for young softball players looking to get into the sport, wanting to have some fun, and fall in love with the game of softball. This camp is open to any and all entrants entering grades 3-6 in the Fall of 2026.

Price: $125 per camper

Check-in: Monday, August 10 from 9:00-9:30am at the Goodman Softball Complex. Tuesday-Wednesday, campers should be dropped off at 9:15am at the Goodman Softball Complex; camp will begin at 9:30am.

Check-out: Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11 at 12:00pm from the Goodman Softball Complex.

Summer Elite All Skills - Session 3 - July 13

The Softball Badger Elite All-Skills Camp is designed for those looking to take their softball skills & IQ to the next level! In addition to grading out arm strength & power, instruction on defense, hitting, and base running will be provided. This camp is open to any and all entrants entering grades 7-Junior College in the Fall of 2026.

Price: $200 per camper

Check-in: Monday, July 13th at 8:00-8:30am at the Goodman Softball Complex.

Check-out: Monday, Jully 13th at 12:30pm from the Goodman Softball Complex.

Note: There will be no mechanics of pitching instruction provided at this camp. Interested pitchers should attend if interested in hitting and positional defense.

Summer Elite Pitching - Session 2 - July 13 WAITLISTING

Sharpen up your pitching skills with Coach Roberts and Badger Softball! This session is designed to focus on pitching mechanics, and help pitchers take their game to the next level. Partcipants will work on different pitches, and will receive feedback on how to strengthen each pitch. This camp is open to any and all entrants grades 9-12.

Price: $150

Check-in: Monday, July 13th at 12:45-1:00pm at the Goodman Softball Complex.

Check-out: Monday, July 13th at 2:30pm from the Goodman Softball Complex.

Note for Pitchers: All pitchers must supply their own catcher. Please see the two options below.

1. Supply a catcher that is 18 years or older (adult). These individuals are asked to sign a release of liability (linked here), and email the completed version to badgercamps@athletics.wisc.edu prior to arriving at camp.

2. Catchers under the age of 18 are welcome to participate (non-instructional) and catch for one of the pitchers for $10. Catchers must register online by clicking the link below.

Badger Softball Live - Session 3 - July 14

The Badger Softball Live sessions are designed for those looking to take their softball skills & IQ to the next level! Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in live scrimmage situations with the hitters focusing on base running & situational hitting, while the defense is focusing on thier setups for cuts and relays. This camp is open to any and all entrants entering grades 9 - Junior College in the Fall of 2026.

Note: Pitchers will throw live during this session.

Price: $200 per camper

Check-in: Tuesday, July 14th from 8:00-8:30am at the Goodman Softball Complex.

Check-out: Tuesday, July 14th at 12:30pm from the Goodman Softball Complex.
