Badger Sports Camps

The University of Wisconsin offers a variety of softball camps throughout the year. The softball camps are focused on developing the fundamental, individual skills of softball in an enjoyable atmosphere, as well as providing instruction on game situations. Each of our camps will include sessions on individual and team concepts for both offense and defense. Our camps are great for players that are looking to take their game to the next level. All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Badger HS Junior Day Camp - October 4 - CLOSED

This elite skills camp is designed to take participants through a Badger Softball practice. Camp will including teaching and evaluating the skills of pitching, hitting, defense, and base running.

This camp is open to any and all female entrants entering GRADE 11 ONLY in the fall of 2024.

Price: $75 per camper

Check-in: Friday, October 4th from 5:45-6:00pm at the Goodman Softball Complex.

Pitchers and catchers are welcome to arrive at 5:00pm to warm-up before camp begins.

Check-out: Friday, Octobor 4th at 8:00pm from the Goodman Softball Complex.

Notes: No meals/snacks will be provided. Campers are welcome to bring their own for during the break periods.

Schedule:
6:00 - 6:45pm || Offensive Skill Instruction
6:45 - 7:30pm || Defensive Skill Instruction
7:30 - 8:00pm || Scrimmage (includes live pitching)

Softball Weekly Badger Pitching Camps - CLICK TO SEE SESSION DATES

Join Assistant Coach Mike Roberts at the Weekly Badger Pitching Camp! This weekly programming is designed to focus on pitching mechanics, and help pitchers take their game to the next level! This camp is open to any and all entrants ages 14 & up.

Camp Info -

Price: $100 per session

Check-in: 5:45-6:00pm at the Goodman Softball Indoor Training Facility.

Check-out: 7:30pm at the Goodman Softball Indoor Training Facility.

Note: Participants of multiple sessions will receive one t-shirt/waterbottle.

Catchers: All pitchers must supply their own catcher. Please see the two options below.

1. Supply a catcher that is 18 years or older (adult). These individuals are asked to sign a release of liability (linked here), and email the completed version to badgercamps@athletics.wisc.edu prior to arriving at camp.

2. Catchers under the age of 18 are welcome to participate (non-instructional) and catch for one of the pitchers for $10. Catchers must register online by clicking the link below; register for the "2024 Softball Weekly Badger Pitching Camp - Session #", and then select "Catcher Under 18 - Softball Badger Pitching Camp".

Softball Badger Built Fall Workouts - CLICK TO SEE SESSION DATES

The Softball Badger Built Fall Workouts will be instructed by the Wisconsin Softball Coaching staff! Weekly sessions will focus on developing both hitting and infield fundamentals to assist players in taking their skills to the next level. All sessions will take place at the Goodman Softball Indoor Training Facility. This camp is open to any and all entrants ages 14 & up.
