The University of Wisconsin Badger Wrestling Camps are designed to provide technical instruction, develop and improve skills in a competitive atmosphere, and prepare student-athletes for the upcoming wrestling season. Camp instruction will be led by our very successful Badger Coaching Staff with assistance and demonstration from current and former UW wrestlers.  Our camps will address all aspects of becoming a better wrestler with emphasis on drill technique, live wrestling, and mental toughness.  All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

2020 CAMPS ARE OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!

The Prospect Camp is intended for competitive high school aged wrestlers. These campers are highly motivated to compete at the college level. Training sessions will be physical and exhaustive mix of technique, drilling, and live wrestling. This will be a high-level camp geared towards campers with a high level of skill and wrestling experience. Campers should expect to understand what it takes to be a Division 1 wrestler.

  • These sessions are open to any and all campers grades 8 to 12.
  • $25 per camper
  • Saturday, May 23rd: Check-in from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the UW Wrestling Room; Dismissal at 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, May 24th: Check-in from 7:30 - 8:00 AM; Dismissal at 11:30 AM
  • Overnight housing and meals will not be provided

The Badger Team Camp offers the opportunity for teams to develop and improve skills in a competitive atmosphere. This will allow your team to see where they stand and to determine what skills need to be improved before the season starts. Current Wisconsin wrestlers will help evaluate and mentor your team. The Badger Coaching staff will have separate sessions with the coaches that are attending with their teams that will discuss teaching philosophy and program building. Housing will be in Bradley Hall with dining at the Four Lakes Market in the recently built Dejope Hall.

  • The camp is open to any and all wrestlers entering grades 9-12 in the Fall of 2020
  • Campers must be part of an attending team to participate in camp. Interested coaches should email badgercamps@athletics.wisc.edu for more information on registration instructions.

  • $325 Commuter Camper
  • $150 per coach
  • Coaches must email badgercamps@athletics.wisc.edu by May 1st in order to receive instruction on completing a volunteer staff application

The Intensive Training Camp is designed to provide high intensity instruction for individuals that want to improve their skills. The Badger coaching staff has had success at the national, world and Olympic levels and will provide a systematic approach to the instruction. It is important that each athlete not only understands the technique but also recognizes when to use the skills. Drilling technique and live wrestling will be part of the development and learning process, and current university athletes will serve as counselors to help you learn.

  • Open to any and all entrants grades 6-12 in the Fall of 2020
  • $700 Resident Camper
  • $575 Commuter Camper
