The University of Wisconsin Badger Wrestling Camps are designed to provide technical instruction, develop and improve skills in a competitive atmosphere, and prepare student-athletes for the upcoming wrestling season. Camp instruction will be led by our very successful Badger Coaching Staff with assistance and demonstration from current and former UW wrestlers.  Our camps will address all aspects of becoming a better wrestler with emphasis on drill technique, live wrestling, and mental toughness.  All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

The Badger Team Camp offers the opportunity for individuals to develop and improve skills in a competitive atmosphere. This camp offers the opportunity to bring your team together in the summer to build as a group. This will allow your team to see where they stand against other programs and to determine what skills need to be improved before the season starts. Current University wrestlers will help evaluate and mentor your team. The Badger coaching staff will have separate sessions with the coaches that are attending with their teams that will discuss teaching philosophy and program building. All Teams will have at least one session in the UW Wrestling room. Housing will be in Kronshage Hall with dining at the Four Lakes Market in the recently built Dejope Hall. We are confident in saying that the variety and quality of the food served is as good or better than any camp you have attended. Commuters will be provided lunch and dinner.

The Badger Technique Camp is designed to provide technical instruction for individuals that want to improve their skill in a teaching environment. The Badger coaching staff has had success at the national, world and Olympic levels and will provide a systematic approach to the instruction. It is important that each athlete not only understands the technique but also recognizes when to use the skills. In addition to the structured sessions there will be time allocated for athletes to choose an area that they would like to get additional instruction. Drilling technique and live wrestling will be part of the development and learning process, and current university athletes will serve as counselors to help you learn. Campers will even be allowed and encouraged to watch the team practice after their sessions. Housing will be at Kronshage Hall with dining at the Four Lakes Market in the recently built Dejope Hall. We are confident in saying that the variety and quality of the food served is as good or better than any camp you have attended.
