The purpose of our various track and field camps is to provide quality individual instruction in the techniques and training that are necessary for young athletes to reach their full potential. We are aware that the athletes represent a wide variety of talent, motivations, education, and experience and we are prepared to tailor our program to each athlete’s needs. The instructor/athlete ratio is kept low to ensure personal attention. All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

The University of Wisconsin Pole Vault Development Day is offering 30 pole vaulters and their coaches the opportunity to receive elite pole vault instruction to further enhance their technique, performance and knowledge in the pole vault and prepare for a great 2015 season! Under the guidance of Wisconsin Coaches Nate Davis and Kyle Ellis, each participant will come away from their experience with ideas and guidance about what it takes to be an elite pole vaulter. Vaulters will work on their full approach for the entire camp with feedback on how to take their performances to new heights!

  • $155 ($185 on-site)
  • Check in: 9:50-10:00 am at Camp Randall Sports Center ("The Shell")
  • Check out: 2:00-2:10 pm at Camp Randall Sports Center ("The Shell")
  • Two full vaulting pits
  • Special demonstrations by elite vaulter Peter Geraghty (18’2.75”)
  • Full analysis sheet provided for each participant
  • Emailed critique after the session
  • Open to both male and female entrants in grades 4-12

The 2015 University of Wisconsin High Jump Development Days will offer high jumpers and their coaches the opportunity to receive elite high jump instruction to further enhance their technique, performance, and knowledge as they prepare for their season. Under the guidance of Wisconsin Coach Nate Davis and current UW High Jumpers, each participant will come away from their experience with ideas and guidance about what it takes to be a successful high jumper. Features include: refining the athlete's competition approach and jump, video analysis of each jumper, a full analysis sheet, and a emailed critique post-symposium. This camp is open to any and all entrants entering grades 4-12.

The instructor/athlete ratio is kept low (approximately 1:10) to ensure personal attention. This camp is open to any and all entrants in 8-12 grades, including graduating seniors. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

  • $475 Resident Camper
  • $400 Commuter Camper
  • Check in:  2:30-4:00 pm at Bradley Hall 
  • Check out: 10:30-11:30 am at Bradley Hall
  • Campers will be housed in Bradley Hall
  • Meals will be enjoyed at Four Lakes Market
