The purpose of our various track and field camps is to provide quality individual instruction in the techniques and training that are necessary for young athletes to reach their full potential. We are aware that the athletes represent a wide variety of talent, motivations, education, and experience and we are prepared to tailor our program to each athlete’s needs. The instructor/athlete ratio is kept low to ensure personal attention. All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

The 2015 University of Wisconsin Spring Pole Vault Academy is offering pole vaulters an opportunity to receive elite pole vault instruction to further enhance their technique, speed and knowledge in the pole vault. Each participant will come away from their Academy experience with what it takes to be an elite pole vaulter. Individuals will be able to select online the sessions they can attend. 

  • $30 per session
  • February 1, 8, 15, 22 (Sunday nights)
  • Check in: 4:00-4:30 pm
  • Check out: 6:00 pm
  • Camp Randall Sports Center (aka "The Shell")
  • Boys and Girls in grades 4-12
  • REGISTRATION CLOSES 24 HRS PRIOR TO EACH SESSION
  • Maximum of 15 vaulters per session.

Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the session will pay an administrative fee of $10 that will be deducted from your refund.  After that point, refunds will only be given for medical reasons when accompanied by a signed letter from a licensed physician.  All refunds must be requested via email to badgercamps@athletics.wisc.edu.

Under the guidance of Wisconsin Coaches Nate Davis and Kyle Ellis, each participant will come away from their experience with ideas and guidance about what it takes to be an elite pole vaulter.

Prepare for your 2015 Conference, Sectional, and State Championships with elite pole vault coaching! The University of Wisconsin Pole Vault Development Day is offering 30 pole vaulters and their coaches the opportunity to receive elite pole vault instruction to further enhance their technique, performance and knowledge in the pole vault. Vaulters will work on their full approach for the entire camp with feedback on how to take their performances to new heights at their upcoming championship meets! Under the guidance of Wisconsin Coaches Nate Davis and Kyle Ellis, each participant will come away from their experience with ideas and guidance about what it takes to be an elite pole vaulter.

All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

  • $475 Resident Camper
  • $400 Commuter Camper

  • Campers will be housed in Bradley Hall 
  • Meals will be enjoyed at Four Lakes Market
