The purpose of our various track and field camps is to provide quality individual instruction in the techniques and training that are necessary for young athletes to reach their full potential. We are aware that the athletes represent a wide variety of talent, motivations, education, and experience and we are prepared to tailor our program to each athlete’s needs. The instructor/athlete ratio is kept low to ensure personal attention. All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Pole Vaulters and high jumpers will refine their competition approaches and technique as they prepare for their competitions. The instructor/athlete ratio is kept low to ensure personal attention. The clinic’s purpose is to provide quality individual instruction in the techniques and training that are necessary for young athletes to reach their full potential. We are aware that the athletes represent a wide variety of talent, motivations, education, and experience and we are prepared to tailor our program to each athlete’s needs.  All day technique instruction will be provided for pole vault events.

  • Open to any and all entrants in grades 7 to 12
  • Session 5 (July 22) at the Camp Randall Sports Center ("The Shell")
  • Session 7 (August 11-12) at the McClimon Track and Soccer Complex
  • $225 per camper for BOTH Saturday & Sunday
  • $120 for one day: Saturday OR Sunday
  • $100 per coach accompanying an athlete
  • Check-in: Each day from 9:30-10:00 am at the McClimon Track Complex or The Shell
  • Dismissal: Each day at 2:00 pm at the McClimon Track Complex or The Shell
  • The Camp session will go from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • This is a day camp only; no overnight housing will be provided.
  • Special Clinic guest: 2016 USA Olympian Zach Ziemek (Decathlon)
  • The Pole Vault & High Jump Camps are geared towards athletes with experience in these events. Campers may rotate between pole vault and high jump instruction.
  • Lunch will not be provided! Campers are encouraged to bring their own sack lunch or snacks during breaks.

  • Session 6 (July 28-29) at the McClimon Track and Soccer Complex

The camp’s purpose is to provide quality individual instruction in the techniques and training that are necessary for young athletes to reach their full potential. The instructor/athlete ratio is kept low (approximately 1:10) to ensure personal attention.

  • This camp is open to any and all entrants in grades 7-12 in the fall of 2018
  • $500 per camper
  • Check-in: Tuesday, July 31st from 3:00 - 4:00 pm at Sullivan Residence Hall
  • Check-out: Saturday, August 4th from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Sullivan Residence Hall
  • This is a resident-only camp. Campers will be housed in Sullivan Hall
  • Meals will be enjoyed at Four Lakes Market
  • Campers will be able to gain instruction for the following events: pole vault, triple jump, long jump, hurdles, sprints, discus, shot put, high jump.
  • REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON JULY 27TH OR WHEN MAXIMUM CAPACITY HAS BEEN REACHED!
